What is One Trademark. One Tree Planted.?
We are a consortium of like-minded intellectual property professionals from around the world united by a common purpose: a desire to make the world a better place in some small way.
We’ve partnered with One Tree Planted and pledged to donate USD 1.00 for every trademark we register, which they will use to plant and nurture a new tree in over 50 locations around the world that desperately need it. Partner firms may designate where their donations are used when donating to One Tree Planted, our charity partner.
There is no commitment (other than to support planting trees!), no reciprocal work requirement, no exclusivity restriction, no membership criteria other than be a trademark professional in good standing. Every firm or solo practitioner in every country can join with us to make a real impact.
There were 13.9 million trademarks filed in 2021 globally. Imagine the impact if just 10% of those applications represented a newly planted tree…
